The Clinton Community Library is thrilled to partner with the Town of Clinton Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) for a 4-part Summer Walk Series. For part 2, come learn about invasive plants! We will start with a talk on invasive species that will cover what makes a species invasive, how invasives affect native ecology, and methods for managing their spread. On our walk, we will focus on the identification of invasive plants and their effects on our local natural spaces.
We will meet at the picnic tables in front of the Clinton Community Library for our discussion before walking along the adjacent Norene Coller Nature Trail.
Please note: Since we will be walking on grassy paths through brushy areas, please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
