Norene Coller Nature Trail

Norene Coller was the chair of the Town of Clinton Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) for many years after its founding in 1974. She was instrumental in gathering scientific information about the town’s natural resources and supporting plans and legislation to protect water, biodiversity and open space. When Clinton was given funds from the Iroquois Pipeline that runs through the town, Norene Coller suggested they be used to purchase property adjacent to the Town Complex to create the Clinton Nature Trail for all residents to enjoy.

On May 2nd 2026, the CAC paid tribute to Norene by renaming the Clinton Nature Trail to the Norene Coller Nature Trail.

The trail is less than a mile long, and meanders through a meadow and through the woods to the Little Wappinger Creek.
